Meet the Pastor

Reverend Brandle C. Morrow Sr., M. Div.

Brandle C. Morrow Sr. was born in Milwaukee, WI to the union of Bobby and Brenda Morrow. He achieved fluency in the German dialect in his primary and secondary education, and graduated from Riverside University High School with honors.  Reverend Morrow earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication (B.A.) from Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI and Master of Divinity (M.Div) from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, Evanston, IL.

Reverend Morrow accepted his call into the preaching ministry and preached his first sermon at Tabernacle Community Baptist Church on March 18, 2005 under the leadership of his God-father, the late Reverend Robert L. Harris.  In previous ministerial endeavors, Reverend Morrow served as an associate minister at Tabernacle Community Baptist Church, Milwaukee, WI, Union Missionary Baptist Church in Lansing, MI and as an associate/youth pastor at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church, Milwaukee, WI.

While an undergraduate student at Michigan State University, Reverend Morrow served as a board member for the Just For Christ (JFC) campus ministry.  Reverend Morrow served the community through the Milwaukee Urban League as the Program Coordinator for the Campaign for African American Achievement (CAAP).  While serving in this capacity, Reverend Morrow worked towards advocating for mobilization in the African American community with an emphasis on the youth as a vehicle for community change.

Currently, Reverend Morrow is the Interim Pastor of the historic Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church, Milwaukee, WI, a candidate for ordination in the American Baptist Churches USA (ABC) Wisconsin district, and He serves the Wisconsin General Baptist State Convention (WGBSC) Youth and Children's department as an administrator.

Reverend Morrow has been blessed to receive many awards over the years for his achievements in academics, sports, in the community, and in ministry:  The Metropolitan Milwaukee Alliance of Black School Educators award for Academic Achievement, induction into the National Honors Society (High School), National Urban League Scholarship recipient, Time Warner Cable Education Scholarship recipient, selected first team All-City Soccer (1998 - 2000), Riverside University High School Best All-Around soccer player (2000), State Honors High School award in Percussion, Milwaukee Urban League "Doing the Right Thing" award for Outstanding Academics, inducted into the inaugural Thurgood Marshall National Achievers Society Milwaukee chapter, Tabernacle Community Baptist Church Youth Leadership award, crowned 2001 Mr. Beautillion sponsored by Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Michigan State University Black Student Achievement Award, and finally, an award in honor of his late grandmother, the Viola June Thurman Memorial Youth Commitment Award for service to the youth and the church.

Reverend Morrow is married to his best friend, Nicole, and to this union God blessed them with three children:  Brandle Collier Morrow, Jr., Natalie Nicole Morrow, and Bryant Lloyd Morrow.
